HARRISBURG (AP) — An anonymous donor has stepped up to keep a skate park project moving in the Willamette Valley town Harrisburg after a $220,000 state parks and recreation grant fell through.

City Administrator Bruce Cleeton said the project now is in good financial shape, with the donation nearly totaling the amount of the lost grant. The school district also has agreed to sell a quarter-acre of land it owns to the city for $30,000, or $10,000 less than what the city was prepared to pay, to help cover the cost of building the park.
