Kimberly Wurster of Coquille and Lois Miller of Port Orford will share an exhibit at Memorial Union Hall on the campus of Oregon State University from Sept. 8 through Oct. 24. Their work will be showing in The Concourse Gallery.

Wurster is known for her award-winning paintings of birds and landscapes and Miller for her award-winning photography of birds and wildlife. The Audubon Society frequently uses Miller’s photos to illustrate articles, a press release said. Miller also is highly respected for her reputation as a professional birder. She is represented by Point B Studio of Port Orford. Wurster is represented by Select Art Gallery of North Bend.

“Raptor,” an acrylic painting by Wurster featuring a red-shouldered hawk, is one of the winners featured in the August/September issue of International Artist Magazine.  “Raptor” is one of 24 Wurster paintings that will be showing at Emerald Art Center in Springfield through Aug. 30.

Two of Wurster’s paintings will be on display at The Palace Gallery in Oakland as part of the Oregon Pastel Society 2008 16th Biennial National Juried Exhibit. The show will run through Sept. 21.
