The Oregon State Police and Florence and Reedsport police departments will be holding a kids meet and greet in the parking lot of Safeway, 4480 U.S. Highway 101 in Florence from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23.

A Dodge Charger and a K-9 drug detection dog will be there. This event is geared toward children of all ages, so they can be able to meet and interact with law enforcement personnel, but anyone may attend.
