The Coos County Roller Girls’ Rockin’ Roulettes will battle Lava City Roller Dolls’ Cinder Kittens in “Playground Punishment,” a roller derby home bout at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23.
Set at the Sunset Middle School hockey rink, this high-energy competition also will include a canned food drive to support the South Coast Food Share, a program of Oregon Coast Community Action.
CCRG is the county’s first and only competitive roller derby league.
Playground Punishment is an all ages event and is open to the public. The rink is located at 245 S. Cammann St.
