Wednesday, August 20, 2008 |
A Coquille man was hurt Monday in a single-vehicle accident on state Highway 42 west of Coquille.
According to an OSP press release, at 12:30 p.m., a 1991 Dodge Ram was towing a trailer with a 1990 Ford Bronco on it eastbound when the trailer began to swerve. The vehicles bounced off the guardrail on the south side of the highway, crossed all four lanes and struck a tree on the north side of the road.
The driver, Donald Reagan, 74, was taken to Coquille Valley Hospital, where he was treated and released, the press release said. Police did not issue a citation.
