Coos Bay

Coquille Tribal Police arrested at 21-year-old Coos Bay man early Saturday, following a car pursuit.

At 12:37 a.m., a police officer tried to stop a Mitsubishi Eclipse, but the driver took off.

After the chase, police arrested Kyle R. Cox on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, five counts of second-degree criminal mischief, and felony attempt to elude police. He was taken to the Coos County jail, where he was released on citation.

Reedsport

Reedsport officers arrested Darci M. Gehring, 27, of Reedsport on charges of first-degree burglary and conspiracy at 5:12 p.m. on Friday.

She was taken to the Douglas County jail, where she was being held on $500,000 bail, awaiting a circuit court hearing this morning.

Reedsport Police arrested a Reedsport man on Friday on assault-related charges.

At about 7:44 p.m., officers apprehended John Muilenburg, 18, at 2200 Longwood Drive on charges of third-degree escape, resisting arrest and assault on a public safety officer, a Reedsport Police log said. Muilenburg was taken to Douglas County jail, where he was booked and released on his own recognizance.
