The South Coast Community Garden Association will have its regular monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. The group will meet in the Cedar Room, at the Coos Bay Public Library, 525 W. Anderson Ave.
Members of the Coos Bay Area Zonta Club are having a “sorting party” from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday Aug. 19 in the cafeteria at the Coos Bay School District office, 1255 Hemlock Ave., in Coos Bay.

Coos Chapter Eastern Star and North Bend Masonic Lodge will host bingo at 6:45 p.m. Tuesdays at the Masonic Center, 2002 Union Ave., North Bend.
