Yellow Ribbon program meeting is on Aug. 30

The Coos County Chapter of the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program is holding a community
forum from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at the South Coast Hospice Community and Education building, 1610 Thompson Road, Coos Bay.
The purpose of this
forum is to explain how the Yellow Ribbon Program works, share information describing signs and symptoms of depression, suicide potential and intervention; and to recruit community members. It will be a dessert potluck, and coffee and tea will be available.
Interested teenagers are invited too. For more information, call Steve Krajcir at 267-4156.
