Fun in the fog

Saturday, August 16, 2008 |
The water may have been cold, but Henry Hood, 3, from Allegany, was not bothered by it as he and his older brother, Tucker, 5, not shown, were spending Thursday afternoon at Bastendorff Beach with their family and friends from Reno. They played in a creek near their home earlier in the week, but the temperatures rose to the low 90s, so the family brought their guests and the kids to the beach. The foggy skies overhead did not bother them as they played in the surf.
