The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.
Coos Bay
• Aug. 14, 8:31 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 500 block of North Broadway.
• Aug. 14, 9:02 a.m., a dispute was reported in the 1900 block of Woodland Drive.
• Aug. 14, 9:21 a.m., criminal trespassing was reported at Safeway, 230 E. Johnson Ave.
• Aug. 14, 10:23 a.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 200 block of Kruse Avenue.
• Aug. 14, 10:31 a.m., illegal camping was reported at the north end of the Coos Bay Boardwalk.
• Aug. 14, 1:16 p.m., a shoplifter was reported at McKay’s, 149 S. Seventh St.
• Aug. 14, 1:39 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1700 block of Ocean Boulevard.
• Aug. 14, 2:02 p.m., someone stole sunglasses out of a vehicle in the 900 block of North 10th Street.
• Aug. 14, 4:03 p.m., the pond was vandalized at Choshi Garden in Mingus Park.
