ATV crash sends one to hospital

Ambulance crews took a Phoenix man to the hospital Thursday after he was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident near Hauser.
Coos County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an ATV accident one dune south of the Rope Swing in the Oregon Dunes Recreation Area at about 4:08 p.m. They found a black Yamaha and its rider, Randy Frischman, 49, who was complaining of back pain. He was taken to Bay Area Hospital. His medical status was unavailable at press time.
