Witness tells police of cemetery robbery

Two people reportedly made off with money and an iPod on Thursday after robbing a man at gunpoint in Millington.
The thieves were hiding behind headstones at Sunset Cemetery, 63060 Frontage Road, when they approached their victim and pointed a gun at his head, according to Coos County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Pat Downing. A witness told deputies about the robbery at 9:49 p.m. The victim did not want to speak with police, Downing said, and his identity, as well as a description of the robbers, was unavailable.
