Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon and crude to $117 a barrel;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
Please vote Republican and give the Dems the boot!

TB - "...and yes I'm aware McCain used the "Gender Card"...but he didnt cry "Womens opression".
That is the definition of playing the gender card. You're contradicting yourself.
Also.... (thinly veiled) closet racists use the word "ego" instead of "uppity" when they want to say a black man doesn't "know his place". If he was white he would be "resolute", "strong", or "determined".
Vote Obama or vote for the continued destruction of our economy, U.S. Constitution, military, infrastructure, environment, industries,.....
Talk issues, not ridiculous spin or platitudes.

Amanda, I’m glad to see someone is thinking straight.
Please stop imposing your beliefs on every woman. It's not a baby until it can live on its own. Here is where you go off track...you think we all believe that a collection of cells is a baby. How ridiculous!
Mind your own business....no one is forcing you or anyone else to end a pregnancy. Get real. Why don't you spend your time bettering sex ed in schools and demanding mandatory coverage for birth control by all health insurance companies?

I am the grandmother of a beautiful 2 year old little girl that, thank God, is here today because my daughter chose adoption over taking the life of this beautiful child. As for minding my own business, I am a woman, it is as much my business as any others. God help your wicked mind.

That's your sad way of "support"? And worst of all, continuing to do so when it's proven beyond all doubt it is, was, and will ocntinue to be a lie?
Good thought process there.

"Why don't you GOPers ever have candidates like that to offer us?"
Sadly, the GOP, like the Dems no longer represent their traditional positions.
The GOP tries to slop over its lack of leadership with moralism
The Dems aren't democrats, they're Marxist and an honest self-assessment would verify the fact.
Back to your question: The present primary system is so badly broken that it puts machines and media influence far ahead of honest assessment of candidates' stand on the issue. It's all about momentum.
A later primary would put proper focus on the issues. Moreover, the cross-over activity in the primaries is simply evil. No one supports the efforts of either GOP or Dems gets shut out and there are plenty of third-party options.

Why in the world are you trying to portray Obama as one who is a) evil and b) not Christian? I'm not saying that McCain is evil. But compared to Obama, he is very uncomfortable mentioning his beliefs (not that it's werong to keep those things private), is the only candidate who, as a 42 yeear-old, hooked up with a rich 24 year-old and abandoned his crippled wife, and has a first reaction to bomb in every situation (who would Jesus bomb?).
I do agree with you on the saying "All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing", but if torching our constitution, giving away our treasury to corporations, and behaving like Stalinist Russia in imperial pursuits isn't evil, what is? It is time for good men (and women!) to do something by not electing the person who has promised to carry on with this Bush/Cheney agenda.
