The final day for Coos Bay youths to register for the new South Coast Football League is next Saturday, when a session will be held at Marshfield High School.

Meanwhile, registration sessions are planned for Tuesday and Wednesday this week in North Bend for the new tackle football league for students in grades 5 and 6.

The registration session in Coos Bay will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Pete Susick Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 16. For more information, call Justin Ainsworth at 404-7883 or Josh Line at 269-8626.

North Bend will have registration from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday this week at North Bend Middle School. For more information, call Gary Prince at 294-0882.

The registration fee of $100 includes pads.
