Shannon Collins and Cherish Alix, both of Coos Bay, were married on June 7, 2008, on the roller coaster Speed in Las Vegas. The ceremony was followed by a week in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, for their honeymoon.

The bride is employed at North Bend Medical Center in Coos Bay. The groom works for Sause Brothers in Coos Bay.
