Smoky and Barbara Stover were married on Aug. 22, 1958, in Seattle, Wash. They moved to Gold Beach in 1968. Smoky worked for the U.S. Forest Service and Barbara was a teacher/librarian.
Their daughter, Kati, and her family, will hold a potluck luncheon from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Bethany Lutheran Youth Center in Gold Beach for family and friends. The couple ask for no gifts, just your presence. Dessert will be served.
