Big Kahuna Invitational starts today at Mingus Park

Nearly 270 swimmers will be competing at Mingus Park this weekend in the Gold Coast Swim Team’s annual Big Kahuna meet.
The event starts today and runs through Sunday at the park’s outdoor pool in Coos Bay.
The host Gold Coast Swim Team will have 70 swimmers competing during the weekend, while 12 other teams also will be represented at the meet, as well as 14 swimmers not with any specific team.
The South Coast Aquatic Team will have 14 swimmers in the competition.
There is no admission fee for spectators.
