Football officials meet Monday

The Southwestern Oregon Football Officials Association held its first meeting of the summer this week and will continue to meet each Monday at the Millicoma Intermediate School library in Coos Bay.
First- and second-year officials are asked to meet with trainer Larry Rescorla at 6 p.m., with the general meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m.
New officials are welcome and encouraged to attend.
SWOFOA officiates at middle school and high school games from Reedsport to Brookings-Harbor and inland to Powers.
The group’s annual coaches clinic, which includes rule changes and points of emphasis, is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday,Aug. 23, at the Millicoma library.
