Community scholarship fund awards go to Bay Area students

During the 2008-09 academic year, 96 North Bend High School recent and former graduates plan to attend more than 33 different colleges/universities or trade schools. They’ll have $133,500 in financial assistance through the North Bend Community Scholarship Fund to help them.
With $3 million in investments, the fund has given out more than $1.3 million in financial aid since 1991. Here is a list of this year’s scholarship recipients. (Listed by name, year graduated, amount, major, school)
