Coos Bay
Police arrested a Coos Bay man Monday in Coos Bay on burglary-related charges.
Officers responded to 1129 Salmon Ave., after receiving a report of a man attempting to take propane tanks off a trailer at 10:11 a.m., according to the Coos Bay police log. They arrested Michael Botts, 31, on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree criminal trespassing. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he was being held on $77,500 bail this morning.
Coos Bay police arrested another Coos Bay man Monday morning on an assault charge. Police responded to a report of an assault at 807 S. Marple St., at 9:44 a.m., the Coos Bay police log said. Officers arrested David Thomas, 44, on a charge of felony fourth-degree domestic assault. He was taken to the Coos County jail, where he was being held this morning on $25,000 bail.
Bandon
Police arrested a California man Sunday night in Bandon on drug-related charges.
Officers stopped a 1987 Toyota pickup truck near the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Elmira Avenue, at about 10:33 p.m. A Bandon police spokeswoman said an officer saw the pickup speeding through the 30 mile-per-hour zone and stopped it.
Officers arrested Richard M. Schwager, 57, of Santa Barbara, Calif., on charges of possession of marijuana, delivery of marijuana and manufacture of marijuana. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he was being held on $175,000 bail this morning.
Bandon police arrested another California man Saturday morning, following a single-vehicle crash, on a drunken-driving charge.
Officers responded to the intersection of Riverside Drive and Caroline Avenue at 1:33 a.m., following a report of a 2004 Nissan pickup truck stuck in a ditch. They arrested the driver, Bracken D. Barnett, 25, of Murrieta, Calif., on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he was scheduled to be released today. |
