The Zone 3 teams were eliminated from the American Legion Class AAA playoffs over the weekend.

Klamath Falls beat Withnell Dodge in consecutive games, while Medford also swept Salem Post 9. Doc Stewart’s of Roseburg topped Zone 3 champion Richey’s Market of Corvallis in three games. Post 9 knocked South Coast team Three Rivers out of the playoffs last month.

Area 4 will have four teams in the state tournament — Klamath Falls, Medford, Doc Stewart’s and host Eugene.
