Variety show to benefit food programs

Bandon’s four nonprofit food assistance programs are working together to put on a variety show for the equal support of these programs.
The variety show will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Sprague Community Theater, for the benefit of the Bandon Nutrition Center, Coastal Harvest, EAT (Eat at Table) and Good Neighbors Food Bank. Representatives from the four groups plan to meet at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at at the Bandon Public Library and would like to hear from anyone who would want to help.
The four groups are represented by Rose Anne Gates, Bandon Nutrition Center; Lyn Silverman, Coastal Harvest; Allison Hundley, EAT; and John Hubbard, Good Neighbors. Silverman is serving as coordinator and can be reached at 347-1585.
The organizers plan to release more information soon about how performers can participate.
