A California man was hurt Saturday in an all-terrain vehicle accident near Fairview.

Emergency personnel went to the intersection of Lone Pine Road and McKinley Route to a report of an ATV accident at 9:30 p.m., according to the Coos County Sheriff’s log.

They found Michael Lienemann, 53, of Oxnard, Calif., bleeding from the head.

Lienemann was taken to Coquille Valley Hospital, where he was treated and released a hospital spokeswoman said this morning.

An Aumsville man was involved in another ATV crash Saturday near Hauser.

Emergency personnel responded to the Hauser sand road at about 7:46 p.m., according to the Coos County Sheriff’s log.

Police said Andrew C. Coonrod crashed while riding his 2007 Yahama ATV on the road. Police were unaware if Coonrod suffered injuries or was taken to the hospital. No further information was available at press time.
