Two all-comers meets scheduled at Marshfield

Two all-comers track meets are planned at Marshfield High School.
The first will be on Friday, July 25, with the second on Friday, Aug. 1.
Both will start at 4 p.m. and will include a limited number of events.
Field events on July 25 include the pole vault, high jump, long jump, shot put and discus. Running events will be the 100, 200, 400, 800, 1,500 and high hurdles.
On Aug. 1, the field events will include the pole vault, high jump, triple jump, shot put and javelin. Running events will be the same as on July 25.
Each day, the field events will begin at 4 p.m., with the running events starting at 5 p.m.
The track will be open for registration and warm-ups at 3:30 p.m.
Participants are limited to three events each. The entry fee is $3 for Pre Track Club members and $5 for nonmembers.
Anyone interested in helping at the meet can call Stan Solomon at 267-7114 or show up at the meets.
