Work will close Old Broadbent Road. The Coos County Highway Department plans to close parts of Old Broadbent Road and Lampa Lane in the coming weeks to make repairs.
It will close part of Old Broadbent Road on Monday to replace a culvert.
The closure will begin at 7 a.m. July 28, starting at milepost 6.8, near Spruce Street. The road will re-open at 5:30 p.m. July 31.
The following week, work crews will close Lampa Lane at milepost 10 on Aug. 5 to repair a road failure. It is scheduled to re-open the afternoon of Sept. 30.
There will be accommodations for emergency vehicles on the Lampa Lane project, but not for Old Broadbent Road. The roads will not be open at night.
