Accident takes out guard rail posts

Some guard rails were damaged when a vehicle crashed Tuesday on state Highway 38 near Reedsport.
According to a Douglas County Sheriff’s press release, a Honda Civic was eastbound near milepost 4 when a tire blew out at approximately 8:15 a.m. The car knocked into three or four guard-rail posts along a 20-foot span, a Douglas County Sheriff’s log said.
The driver, Judith Petersdorf, 58, of Reedsport, reported no injuries, police said.
