Coos County celebrated the opening of a new Coquille Annex building Monday.
Former Coos County Commissioner Bev Owen was on hand to celebrate the opening of the Coquille Annex in the newly-named Owen Building, previously known as the Pincinatti Building. The county named the annex building after Owen, who served two terms on the county commission.
The new county annex building, located at 225 N. Adams St. in Coquille, will house the county planning department, Veterans' Service and the water resource department.
At the opening, Owen served cake made to look like the signs for the new building. |
