Coos County
Coos County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Myrtle Point man on burglary and harassment charges.
According to a Coos County Sheriff’s Office press log, deputies went to 56456 Summerland Road in Myrtle Point on Saturday morning, after receiving a report of a disturbance the night before.
Told that Roxie Dockery, 50, of Myrtle Point had been assaulted, they arrested Oscar Freedle, 37, on charges of first-degree burglary, domestic menacing and domestic harassment.
He was taken to the Coos County jail, where he was being held today on $90,000 bail.
Coquille
Coquille police officers arrested a Myrtle Point man Thursday on charges including first-degree theft.
According to a Coquille Police Department press release, officers arrived at 959 N. Collier St. at about 10:51 a.m. They arrested William Roysden, 32, on two-counts of first-degree theft.
He was taken to the Coos County jail, where he was released that same day on his own recognizance.
Curry County
Officers from California arrested a Crescent City man Friday, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
According to a Curry County arrest log, Paul R. Poplin, 44, was booked at
the Curry County jail at about 1 p.m. on a possession of methamphetamine charge. Bail was set at $25,000 bail.
