The Waterfall Community Health Center is offering dental care to low-income families in Coos County.

Dental hygiene education, scaling and cleaning is available to adults and children between the hours of 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Fluoride treatment for select patients is also available.

Dental hygienist Astrid Diepenbroek, who has 20 years experience in the profession, will provide services.

There are no X-ray, definitive exam or restorative services at the clinic. Patients will be referred and advised to visit their dentists of record for these services. In accordance with the Oregon Dental Practice Act, and the need for affordable access to preventive dental care, the limited-access permit was designed to allow hygienists to provide care for the health needs at the clinic.
