The Oregon Coast Music Festival features both local and regional groups this week. The musical influences of the groups range from reggae, jazz, Celtic and country.

The T Club

The T Club, an eight-member Eugene band, has performed together since 1999 and describes its music as “positive reggae-influenced dance music.”

Gypsy Soul

Northwest duo Gypsy Soul, singer/lyricist Cilette Swann and instrumentalist, music writer and producer Roman Morykit plays atmospheric acoustic rock with Celtic and Americana roots with ethereal vocals by Cilette Swann, according to a press release. The independent duo has produced eight albums and sold more than 100,000 records, reaching the adult contemporary charts. The band’s songs have also been featured in several television shows.

Dale Inskeep Band

Dale Inskeep, Bunker Hill Elementary School’s principal, describes his musical genre as surf country. His latest album is “Saltwater Cowboy,” which includes the title song and “I Don’t Want to Leave,” “Bad Times Weren’t Bad” and “Hole in the Ocean.” The Dale Inskeep Band includes Carmen Matthews on bass, Dave Ford on electric/acoustic guitar, Danny Richardson on drums, Tom Beckstrom on percussion and Inskeep on acoustic guitar.

Stephanie Schneiderman

Portland artist Stephanie Schneiderman has amassed a diverse body of work that includes five solo albums, two collaborative albums, three acclaimed children’s records, several acting roles and the production of a concert series to benefit refugees in Uganda.

Her collaborative project, “Dirty Martini,” a Crosby, Stills and Nash-styled girl group, is one of Portland’s buzz bands, according to a press release. She also is the founder and director of Voices for Silent Disasters, Portland’s first humanitarian concert series, which supports Mercy Corps in Northern Uganda.

Molly’s Revenge is an acoustic Celtic band that combines bagpipes, whistle, fiddle and song, set against a backdrop of guitar, bouzouki, and mandola accompaniment. Their arrangements modernize traditional Celtic jigs and reels.

George Whitty and Friends

George Whitty is a keyboardist, Emmy-nominated composer, Grammy-winning producer and mix engineer. His recording resume includes hits such as Santan’s “Supernatural” (with Dave Matthews) and Celion Dion’s “Falling into You” and “These are Special Times.” The concert also will feature a champagne and appetizer reception catered by the Black Market Gourmet.
