Thursday, July 17, 2008 10:45 AM PDT
Families are invited to a free child safety seat inspection clinic to be held Friday in Coquille.
This is provided for families with young children, grandchildren and caretakers of young children. Trained volunteers will be on hand to check child safety seats to ensure the seats are safe and are correctly installed in the vehicle.
It will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Coquille Valley Bowling Center, 602 E. Highway 42.
Local agencies partnering in this event include Bay Area Hospital, the Coquille Indian Tribe’s Department of Health and Social Services, Coquille Head Start, the Oregon Department of Human Services and the Coquille Indian Tribal Police Department.
