The mayor of Coos Bay was involved in a two-vehicle, non-injury accident Saturday near Scottsburg on state Highway 38.

According to an OSP press release, at about 11:40 a.m., a 2004 GMC pickup truck and a 2007 Toyota with a trailered boat were eastbound on Highway 38 near milepost 24 when they collided.

The driver of the GMC, Jeff McKeown, 58, of Coos Bay; the driver of the Toyota, Thomas Reynolds Jr., 61, of Portland; and three Portland-area passengers in the Toyota did not report any injuries to police. No citations were issued.
