LUBA sets new deadline for LNG ruling
Friday, June 27, 2008 10:48 AM PDT
A ruling concerning Jordan Cove Energy Project’s proposed liquefied natural gas terminal has been postponed again.
The Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals asked for a two week extension Thursday to issue a ruling on an appeal of the project’s land-use application. The Coos County Board of Commissioners approved the application in December 2007 and a notice of appeal was filed later that month. LUBA was originally suppose to issue a decision June 12, but requested a two-week extension. The new deadline is July 10.
