Gov. Ted Kulongoski’s task force on veterans’ services will hold a town hall meeting in Myrtle Point at 7 p.m. on Monday to discuss veterans’ issues in Oregon. The meeting will be at the Coos County Fairgrounds in Oaks Pavilion, 115 Fourth St.

Kulongoski formed the task force to compile, review and evaluate current veterans policies, procedures and programs. It is charged with developing recommendations for improvements to ensure that Oregon veterans have access to the services they need.
