Oswald helps South to All-Star series sweep

Marshfield graduate Brogan Oswald had 10 points to help the South to a 110-106 win over the North in the finale of the Class 5A basketball all-star series on Saturday.
Oswald shot 4-for-6 from the floor, including a 3-pointer, while playing just under 22 minutes in the game. He also grabbed four rebounds in the win.
In the first game of the series, Oswald scored seven points in 20 minutes and also grabbed four rebounds, as the South team won 102-93.
In the Class 4A series, North Bend graduate Luke Clark, playing for the North team, had two rebounds in the opening game, an 80-78 win for his team. He scored four points and grabbed three rebounds in the second game, which was won by the South 94-81.
Class 1A Football
Mason Lieuallen of Powers had two carries for two yards for the West team in its 28-2 win over the East in the Oregon 8-Man All Star Football Game on Saturday at Eastern Oregon University.
Thomas Wagner of Powers also was on the West roster.
