Maryann Copley, of North Bend, was among 281 students who earned a bachelor in arts from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, at the commencement exercises on Saturday, May 10.
The commencement address was given by Rick Clark, instructor in Spanish at Northwestern.
Northwestern College is a Christian college of more than 1,300 students.
