The American Red Cross is inviting 11 to 15-year-old teens to enroll in a Babysitter’s Training Course from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Coos Bay. Teens will learn leadership skills, the business of babysitting, safety on the job, feeding, caring and understanding young children and infants, and what to do if there is an emergency. An optional card for the First Aid and CPR can be added to the course with an additional four hours on an another day. There is a fee for the course. It includes a book, CD and emergency guide.
