The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.
Coos Bay
* June 18, 10:36 a.m., copper wiring and pipes were stolen in the 100 block of Newmark Avenue.
* June 18, 11:53 a.m. a theft was reported in the 1300 block of Crocker Street.
* June 18, 2:55 p.m., a patient used a false name at Bay Area Hospital, 1775 Thompson Road.
* June 18, 3:22 p.m., an external hard drive was stolen in the 300 block of Student Way.
* June 18, 3:41 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported at Wal-Mart, 2051 Newmark Ave.
* June 18, 4:44 p.m., someone shoplifted items at McKay’s Freshmart, 149 S. Seventh St.
* June 18, 6:48 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported at the Bayway Market, 325 S. Broadway.
* June 18, 9:14 p.m., a family dispute was reported in the 200 block of Schoneman Street.
North Bend
* June 18, 7:36 a.m., a car was broken into in the 2900 block of Ash Street.
* June 18, 10:26 a.m., criminal trespassing was reported under the McCullough Bridge.

Bandon
* June 15, 2:57 p.m., a vehicle was vandalized at the Bandon Boat Basin.
* June 16, 10:31 a.m., someone threw a rock through a window in the 700 block of Third Street.
* June 16, 11:45 a.m., a DVD player was stolen from a house in the 3000 Beach Loop Drive.
* June 16, 9:33 p.m., an assault was reported in the Third Street and North Avenue area.

* June 15, 10:57 p.m., a cougar was spotted in the 2300 block of Shelley Road.
