Hauser Citizen Patrol will have its fourth-annual Mega Garage Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at North Bay Elementary School, 93670 Viking Way in Hauser. Steve Bell will lead a discussion on the Vista Operating System at the Bay Area Seniors’ Computer Club. Bell will share how Vista is different from XP. The meeting is scheduled for 10 to 11 a.m. Friday with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1290 Thompson Road. The group meets twice-monthly to provide speakers who talk about topics associated with computing. Meetings are held on the first and third Fridays of the month at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be available. Meetings are open to all, but members must be 50 years old or older. HOT MEALS FOR SENIORS: Bay Area Senior Activity Center offers soups, salads, entrées and desserts at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $3.50 for BASAC members, $4 for non-members. The resale shop is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. BASAC is located at 886 S. Fourth St., Coos Bay. Call 269-2626, 269-9551 or 396-4302 for more information.
THE NORTH BEND SENIOR CENTER’S luncheon program is available to everyone, not just seniors. Buffet-style meals are available from 11:30 a.m. until everyone is served. Meals cost $5 and monthly menus are available. The center, located at 1470 Airport Lane. Schedule information is available at 756-7622.
