A Start Making a Reader Today Town Hall meeting will be held at 4 p.m. at the Coos Bay Public Library, 525 W. Anderson Ave.
The Sea Breeze Harmony Chorus of Sweet Adelines, International, will host a guest night for women who enjoy singing at 6:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 123 Ocean Blvd., Coos Bay.
A food handler class will be held by Coos County Public Health at 6 p.m. at Sitkum Hall, Room 6, at Southwestern Oregon Community College, 1988 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay.
The Lower Umpqua Senior Center, 460 Winchester Ave., in Reedsport, hosts a dance with live music on the third Tuesday of every month, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Dances will include the fox trot, cha cha, line dance and more.
The South Coast Real Estate Investors will meet on the third Tuesday of the month, during the school year, at 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Empire Hall, room Lakeview G, at Southwestern Oregon Community College, 1988 Newmark Ave. For more information, those interested can call Rachel Richardson at 266-4114.

The Hutchinson-Rempelos Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3182 will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the grange hall on East Bay Drive in Glasgow. The post’s ladies auxiliary will meet at the same time. For more information, those interested can call Dick Mitts at 756-5406.
Bingo will be hosted by Coos Chapter Eastern Star and North Bend Masonic Lodge at 6:45 p.m. every Tuesday at the Masonic Center, 2002 Union Ave., North Bend.
