Work session planned to discuss incentives

The city of Brookings has developed draft regulations to create flexibility and provide incentives for developing affordable housing.

An informal work session will be held with the Brookings Planning Commission acting in its role as the Committee for Citizens Involvement to review the draft regulations and receive public input.

The work session will be held in the council chambers of city hall, 898 Elk Drive in Brookings at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Builders/developers, lending institutes, Realtors, employers with housing needs and anyone with helpful ideas is invited to attend.
