To answer the questions posted.

There are two events held during the ODCSC competition.
The first is the "The Main event". The main event is the judged portion, where one large sculpture is created over 4 days and 22 hours. Chris Foltz from Coos Bay won this portion in the semi-pro cattegory.
The second portion is "The Quick Carve Event". This is held each day, which is a 75 minute time period in which the carvers try to make the most "sellable" piece/pieces. The winner is determined by auction totals. Ryan Anderson won all four days of this portion of the show. His main event piece did not place, although very well done.

I attended the chainsaw competition on Sunday. At the auction all of Ryan Andersons carvings sold top dollar! He won first place all 4 days in the quick carve, although main piece looked great, it did not place in top 5. Chris is from North Bend. Would like to have read SOMETHING about Chris and Ryan in newspaper as they both did great

Ok so the article states that Ryan Anderson of Reedsport won all four days of the semi-pro division, but at the end of the article, his name is nowhere to be seen in the 1st-5th place standings. If he won, then why isn't he listed in this section? I'm confused.
