The Oregon Divisional Chainsaw Sculpting Championships continue today in Reedsport for Father’s Day weekend.

This year’s theme is “Fish Tales.” Visitors will get to see (and hear) the artists in action. Here’s the Saturday schedule.

Today

8 -10:30 a.m. — carve on main sculpture

10:30 -10:45 a.m. — break

10:45 a.m. -12 p.m. — quick carve

12 -12:45 p.m. — lunch

12:45 - 3 p.m. — carve on main sculpture

3 - 3:15 p.m. — break

3:15 - 5 p.m. — carve on main sculpture

5:30 p.m. —  auction of quick-carve sculptures

9 p.m. - midnight — street dance featuring Paul Biondi and the Alliance Band, beer garden ($5 cover charge)

Sunday

8 -10:30 a.m. — carve on main sculpture

10:30-10:45 a.m. — break

10:30 a.m. — judging begins

10:45 a.m. -12 p.m. — quick carve

1 p.m. —  auction of quick-carve sculptures

2:30 p.m. — awards ceremony
