The Friends of the North Bend Public Library will host a used book sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room, 1800 Sherman Ave.
The American Legion and the Coos Bay Elks Lodge No. 1160 will co-host the annual Flag Day Ceremony at 1 p.m. at the Coos Bay Boardwalk.
People for People Student Ambassors Caitlyn Reilley and Katelyn Terra will host a car wash, and bake sale fundraiser 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at Umpqua Bank, 1975 Winchester Ave., Reedsport.
Supporters of the Lonnie Simpson family will hold a silent auction at 4 p.m. at the Plankhouse Building on the Coquille Indian Tribal Reservation, off of Cape Arago Highway, to help the family while Simpson recovers from a kidney transplant.
