Daughters of the Revolution officers installed at May 10 meeting

Installation of Officers for the Coos Bay Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution was held at the May 10 meeting. The meeting was held at the home of Alice Fraser in Bandon.

New officers are Judy Wheeler, regent; Karen Taylor, vice regent; Barbara Jackson, secretary; Betty Burley, treasurer; Elizabeth Krambeal, historian; Delores Barkely, chaplain; and Arlene Peil, registrar.

The chapter recently hosted the Oregon State Management meeting at the Mill Casino-Hotel in North Bend. A delegation will attend the state convention in Wilsonville, May 15-18.

DAR is an organization of descendants of American patriots of the Revolutionary War. The national project is that DAR Museum and Library in Washington, D.C.
