Wells Fargo recently honored two of its Coos Bay team members, Debbie Williams and Linda Tooley, at its national sales and service conference at Disneyworld in Orlando, Fla.
Williams and Tooley were among the 32 community banking stars from Oregon and southwest Washington who, based on their superior sales or service in 2007, qualified to attend with a guest.
The five-day event honored almost 1,000 winners from across the west, representing the top three percent of the company’s employees.
Williams manages the Wells Fargo Bank at 200 N. Broadway in Coos Bay. She has worked at Wells Fargo for 32 years. This was her second time at the conference.
Tooley is the service manager at the same branch. She has worked for Wells Fargo for four years. This was her first time at the conference.
“Our stars distinguished themselves by building strong relationships with customers and helping them achieve their financial goals,” said Kim Katic, Wells Fargo’s district manager for Coos Bay. “Their national honor is well deserved and a great accomplishment.”
The conference included parties, presentations by Wells Fargo’s senior management, banquets, motivational speakers, an awards ceremony, recreational activities, sightseeing tours and an exclusive concert by Cyndi Lauper.
Oregon Business magazine has named Wells Fargo one of the 100 best companies to work for in Oregon for eight years in a row. The company employs 6,030 people in Oregon and southwest Washington. |
