The JC Penney store in Pony Village Mall was one of eight stores recognized in Oregon at a celebratory banquet in Dallas, Texas, on May 2.
Myron Ullman III, chairman and chief executive officer, honored JC Penney’s best-performing teams, including 125 stores and four districts, with the chairman’s award, the company’s highest honor for performance excellence, according to a press release.
“The managers and teams receiving the chairman’s award delivered exceptional results in an increasingly challenging environment,” Ullman said. “These associates rose to the top by always putting our customers first and consistently performing at a high level. We congratulate them for their outstanding achievement.”
Only the top 15 percent of stores and districts can qualify to become chairman’s award winners, according to the release. |
