Bicyclist, auto accident sends one to BAH

Ambulance crews took a Coos Bay bicyclist to the hospital Wednesday following a traffic accident in North Bend.
According to the North Bend Police log, at about 9:17 a.m., a bicyclist and a 1999 Jeep Wrangler collided at the intersection of Oak and Newmark streets.
The bicyclist, Fabian L. Gong, 35, was taken to Bay Area Hospital. A hospital spokeswoman said he was treated and released.
Officers said Gong and the Jeep driver, Julie Neuharth, 38, of Coos Bay, were both equally at fault. No citations were issued.
