A duck hunting outing, tickets for an Oregon State football game and a round of golf for four at Bandon Dunes will be among items auctioned off Saturday night during North Bend High School’s third-annual Puttin’ On the Dog sports dinner and auction.

The event will be held in the North Bend High School gymnasium and tickets still are available. The event, which includes a steak or salmon dinner, costs $25 per person. All money goes to fund the sports programs at North Bend High School. The first two years, the event raised about $20,000.

The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for people to view and bid on silent auction items including gift certificates, a 30-minute flight with Coos Aviation, two rounds of golf at Coos Country Club, parties at North Bend Lanes and the North Bend Municipal Pool, and several cords of firewood.

The dinner starts at 7 p.m. and will be followed by the oral auction and presentation of the Hespers, a series of awards.

Items in the oral auction include:

A trap shoot, trout fishing and dinner at Ethan and Tracy Heley’s home;
