Time to join the Relay for Life

There is still time to join Relay for Life. The South Coos County Relay for Life is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 a.m., Friday and Saturday, July 11-12.
The American Cancer Society has been an active member of the South Coos County, Coquille, Bandon, Myrtle Point and out laying areas as well as the Coos Bay area for some time.
Organizers need more teams, people to fill a few positions, as well as funds for education, research and treatment. Luminaries in hope and memory of cancer patients also are for sale.

‘Puttin’ on the Dog’ event on June 7
The third “Puttin’ on the Dog” dinner and auction will be held Saturday, June 7, at the North Bend High School gymnasium. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The event supports North Bend High School athletics.
Tickets can be purchased through the athletic department by calling 751-7159; North Bend Visitor Information Center by calling 756-4613; or at the door.
